Trees in the Snow

A quick grab shot with the G9 whilst out with the dog. It was a strange day of recent snow with fog.....

Roaches

I went for a walk with my son up on the Roaches. It was a cold and grey day so yet more B&W! A light dusting of snow added to the day and enabled some quite nice B&W shots to be taken.

#1 is my favourite from the day.

Canon Powershot G9

Santa brought me a Canon Powershot G9 for crimble. What a camera! Built like a house brick, good looking and slips in the pocket OK. Easy to use (if you have used an SLR).

Took it shopping with the missus and son in Buxton yesterday. Took a few shots of the Crescent. This was may fave.....

Mam Tor

On the same shoot as below we went up to the top of Mam Tor (or Shimmering Mountain). It certainly was shivering at the top. The wind was blowing a hooley again!!

A grey day, so one of my B&W days (again!).

Winatts Pass

I went out for the morning up into the Peak District with my son and my Brother-in-Law. The idea was to get in some photography which we did, but the weather was not kind.

Got these shots of Winatts Pass near Castleton.

British Museum Atrium

I was browsing around some of my old pictures and found this one of the British Museum Atrium which I had not noticed before. I like the solitary figure who seems "lost" in the open space with no others around them.

Scotland

I have just returned from a weeks holiday with the family in the Scottish Borders. I took plenty of photos and here a few of my favourites.
